Moreover, the challenges communities now face and will face are more complex and ambiguous than ever before. We live in volatile and uncertain times and our problems are what are considered ‘Wicked’ - seemingly unsolvable, yet must be solved. We can not meet and solve our problems operating how we have in the past - in isolation and silos.
Communities can not solve our place-based problems alone, operating in silos. We must come together - cut across silos - taking a networking approach, considering the systems and thinking in new and expanded ways - the 10X approach.
The space for this important community-based work needs to be created, utilising what we already know how to do, which is the projects that communities care about.
